About

Yes, that's a broad mix. No, it's not random.

I’m Erin Ajayi, and The Better Good Project is the home for work I care deeply about: public-interest storytelling, philanthropy, and yoga.

The through line has always been there: a commitment to social good, public interest, and the people behind the work. Even as an advertising major in college, I was more interested in selling missions than products. One of the first projects I worked on was an HIV/AIDS public health campaign, which in retrospect feels like a pretty early clue.

Since then, my path has taken me through higher education, nonprofits, podcasting, and yoga — not exactly the standard career arc, but one that has always been guided by the same question: what helps people do good better?

To me, the answer is this:
We do good better when we’re informed.
We do good better when we have strong systems and honest support.
We do good better when we’re in community.
And we do good better when we’re restored enough to keep going.

Through research and fact checking, I support public-interest storytelling with care, rigor, and credibility. Through nonprofit and philanthropic support, I strengthen the systems and structures that help good work function well. Through yoga and sound baths, I create restorative experiences for the people behind the work.

My sweet spot is finding the thread when things get tangled — seeing connections, making sense of details, and helping people get out of the weeds.

The Better Good Project is what happened when I stopped trying to make my path look linear and built a home for the work that feels most true to me.
